The Gauss Instruments TDEMI 26G covers the frequency range from 10 Hz to 26 GHz in its standard version. The unit is specially designed for the applications like civil, military EMC testing and avionics testing. The device can be used for standards like CISPR, MIL 461 and DO 160. Especially with this applications, in the lower frequency band up to several hundred MHz a large number of points to be measured. The parallel digital implementation of several thousand receivers using the short term fast Fourier transform (STFFT) allows the TDEMI to reduce the testing time significantly. The noise floor of the TDEMI 26G in the frequency range 1.15 GHz up to 6 GHz is typically below 3 dBuV 9 1 MHz IF bandwidth, average detector) which is significantly lower than conventional EMI receivers. The low frequency amplifiers can be used in frequency range above 6 GHz to enhance the sensitivity of the TDEMI EMI receivers. The recommended option LN-UG lowers the noise floor in the frequency 6 GHz-26 GHz below 22 dBuV.
